When the news got put out that the US was going to shoot down an orbiting satellite over the Pacific Ocean, people were left with more questions than answers. Regardless of the intentions, the fact that the United States was able to take out an object traveling quickly in orbit is impressive. Actually the US made shooting down a satellite look easy.
